Help me out here if I have this difference between timeline correct.
a) In the old BlueVerse Peter’s mom comitted suicide since she couldn’t live with knowing that her Peter died and the Peter from the RedVerse didn’t trust her for a while and she had to lie to him.
b) In the new BlueVerse Peter’s mom comitted suicide since her Peter died and before Walter crossed over to the RedVerse to rescue that Peter.

I frakking love this damn show…truly
I just watched the series finale for this show. Holy crap, I am going to miss this show! I feel the same way I felt at the end of BSG- both loving and hating the ending, sad that the show is over, but wishing there were more episodes to come.
Anyone who has not watched this show, go and do so immediately!
In comparing the two endings of BSG and Fringe I have to say that Fringe had the much better ending for me. It was a much more positive spin on everything that had happened. Walter’s adorable but he’s also a major dick that caused everything. It is not very difficult to accept what happened to him and it was very wonderful to see what happens to Olivia, Peter and Emma.
In fact I’ll even say that the Fringe ending was incredibly better than the ending to Chuck - an ending that I still have issues with. The Chuck ending makes me feel like I wasted 5 years watching that show.
Meanwhile in BSG Ronald D Moore managed to dole out the sentences to characters without regard to whether they deserved it or not. Was BSG the better overall series? Possibly. But which show had the better ending for me? Definitely Fringe. Especially after such a difficult final season.
I’m glad I watched both BSG and Fringe and thankful to those that encouraged me to watch Fringe else I would have missed out an an incredible show and an incredible journey.
