Fringe 3x19 Lysergic Acid Diethylamide

Jingle Bells as an ominous warning? That’s some seriously bad Christmas memories she has.

Oh great, it’s up to Belly? Like I trust he’s going to do the right thing. :frowning:

(Sorry I’m very cynical about Belly’s character…much more so than even Walter)

Oh well, it was a good guess. shrug

“I’m not afraid of you.”

OK. Neo.

“I need to leave.”

Spock! NOOOOOOOO!!!

Here comes the kick.

Bubbles is Broyles’ new nickname!

Broyles is blowing bubbles.

I love this show!

“Belly hates goodbyes.”

But he had a moment with each of them. Gave them each a bit of wisdom.

“I’m not afraid to move forward.”

“But I think he is the man that is going to kill me.”

Someone has some of Spock’s katra still in her.

Yeah. Way too calm about the killing thing. Not she says IS and not WILL TRY.

I had to watch on DVR so didn’t join you all at the time.

First thing I thought was, “where’s the chick in the red dress?”

I suspect they couldn’t get Nimoy to actually come back. He’s pretty staunchly in retirement, it seems. Too bad. the episode would have been better without the bad cartoon part. The running was horrible! However, they probably saved a ton of money on the falling special effect.

I thought this too! I’m actually surprised she wasn’t.

However, it would prove that Peter remembers that time of his life, which I’m not at all sure is true.

I am too. I was thinking he was running the whole show (as they were seemingly on the Alternate Earth) and was going to try to kill her. Good that he kept his word, though.

All in all I liked it. Good starting point to what I hope will be an awesome end-run of the season.

“I am become Death, destroyer of worlds”

I think the animated bit would have worked better if they’d animated the entire “dream sequence” rather than having it change to animated when the enter Bell’s office. They must have had a very limited budget, because the animation was not good, I noticed the running too, but mostly the facial expressions, and the fact that none of them really looked much like the actors (especially Belly). I think you may be right about Nimoy, although technically it’s not really retirement if you’re still doing voice work…

All in all the episode got the plot across - getting Olivia back, but changed again, and Walter saying goodbye to Belly, and thematically foreshadowing all the upcoming “goodbyes” when the worlds collide (or whatever exactly happens) - but I’m only going to rewatch this one if I do a whole series rewatch. It just never really jelled for me.

Hehehe, Astrid strikes back!

I believe Belly can’t simply just leave Olivia’s body. He was shady IMO from the beginning. EDIT: Aaaaaand I was correct.

Experimented with rats? So did he put human consciousnesses in rats or the other way around?

Acupuncture…I love that idea. After I had one a few years ago I had the best and deepest sleep EVER. Anna Torv raising her eyebrow. lol

“Backshelve, by the fish food.” And I love how they incorporate the methods they used at the beginning of this series.

I’m having a laugh attack watching Peter inspect Broyles. “I think he’s an observer!”

I wonder if the American tax payer is providing for all the drugs used in Walter’s lab. lol

OMG! Walter on the bus. What is the advertisement on it? Another clue maybe. And good catch by Peter that all are dressed in Black/Grays.

The one in the WTC is definitely NOT Olivia. And now we know whey she dressed that colorless. Rector Skinner and the Superintendent would have liked to use Cortexophan (without the abilities) on the Springfield school kids.

Ähhhhhmm, has Broyles also taken some LSD??!!! Why the hell is he so fascinated with Walter’s licorice?!
NOT THE SWIRL!! (flashback to Cavil/Ellen Tigh)

Yeah, Peter that Star Wars reference is the right way to describe your situation. And I was sure that they would have to deal with her stepdad in her subconsciousness.

WTF!! Nina is in there as well? I guess we’ll get a big revelation in this episode. HOLY! Nina with her robotic arm…might suggest that Olivia doesn’t trust her and therefore she tried to kill Walter. This episode has unimaginable stuff all the way. Now they’re cartoon characters.

Everytime I see someone tripping on LSD I LOL. Joshua Jackson and now Lance Riddick do an fantastic job.

Zombie Lab assistants???

They have kept this animated sequence close to their chest. I would have never expected this. And the music works with it as well.

Now I see why they used animation for that crazy action on and outside of the zeppelin.

The bird Broyles see…I’ve never laughed so hard and often during a TV Drama.

Ahhhh, they found her. With her younger self and family.

It’s Fringe…Nemoy can come back again. Although I don’t necessarily need him in this show.

Ok, I was also wondering who that guy on the Zeppelin was. I’ve got no idea. Have you any theories??
