After last weeks weak episode, this one was interesting again.
Somehow after Alistair traveled back to the crash, I already got the feeling, that either he was the cause for his fiancées death from the very beginning or “the Universe course corrected” a la LOST.
Solid episode. For a moment when they went back to the train again I was afraid it was going to be a classic groundhog day episode, but they quickly moved on from that. I loved Walter’s conversation with Alistair. Good job by two experienced actors in conveying both the seriousness of the conversation and the strong emotions involved.
I was wondering why Walter threw the letter in the fire at the end. He didn’t do that the first time and since Alistair went back and changed things he never talked to Walter. But at least the white tulip saved the day and appeared to make Walter change his mind again so we will finally see Peter being told the truth pretty soon.
I don’t think so. Walter was waiting for forgiveness, a sign. I got the impression the white tulip was that sign for him in the final moments of the episode. He had written the letter, faced the moment, and realized he couldn’t tell Peter. The white tulip was the sign that told him to move on, you’ve been forgiven.
Walter Bishop is an amazing character. The show gets better with each episode.
“Any spare change?”
I’ve seen this episode before. Robocop!
Walter has very nice handwriting for a lefty.
“Have you noticed anything weird?”
“No, but give it ten minutes.”
Contagious heart attacks?
Walter’s being standoffish to Peter.
All this has happened before…
“I’m sorry that you have to go through this again.”
“Wow, I’m having déjà vu.”
“I read that déjà vu is fate’s way of telling you that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be. That’s why you feel like you’ve been there before. You are right in light with your own destiny.”
Wait. I thot that déjà vu was awareness of the alternate reality?
“I never get 'em myself. Maybe that’s because I’m not on track with my own destiny.”
“Grief can drive people to extraordinary lengths.”
Walter does have a way with other mad scientists, doesn’t he?
Hydroponic white tulip, perhaps?
He killed a lot of grass there.
Crop circles are time travel?
Hmm, Robocop sent Walter a message through time?
A white tulip. Robocop is a prophet of God!
