Heya gang, I wanted to pass along a link. For those of you on GoodReads, there’s a section called “Giveaways” http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway
They’re probably books from authors you haven’t heard of (I know I haven’t), but it’s used to get limited copies of the books into the hands of readers who will go on to review them on GoodReads. The selection of winners is pretty arbitrary, and the rules are kinda funny. Basically, the administrators get to choose, so there’s no guarantee you’ll get a book out of it.
Warning: There’s no way to filter by Genre, and there are a ridiculous number of books up there, but if you’re on a budget and want to try new authors, throw your hat in the ring and see what happens. I’ve recently signed up for a few, and if I get selected I’ll report back!
