Well…I guess it was only a matter of time…
Finally, now I can clear up some space in my brain.
I took the plunge and downloaded it to my ipad (1).
It works a treat…not buggy so far. In fact, it made me appreciate just how rich in characters and storylines the Trek 'verse is. There is a wealth of material here…
It’s a biggish app though, 250mb or so. I think one of the bigger apps I have.
Will continue to explore and update here if there is a problem.

It’s actually a “working” tricorder app. You can use it to detect and connect to WiFi and Bluetooth, analyze ambient audio, measure brightness and light patterns, geolocation, all kinds of crazy stuff. Big review of it here.
I actually had this for a while. Really cool and it worked great. Even had the sounds and everything. Immediate geek cred as soon as you open it up in front of people.
