First time for Chuck

So I for the first time and watching Chuck. I know I am really late to the game with this show. It was the love of the show from the podcast that made me invest time in it. I have watched 2 eps so far. I am loving it. I can’t believe I missed this. It mist hbe been on a night that the wife had control of the tv. I love Adam in it. I can’t wait till I get into it more and see how all the chemistry between the characters develops. If anyone has any suggestions for helping me go through this please share.

It’s a great show that keeps getting better each season. Watching the characters develop is really cool to see.

Honestly, I’d say watch 'em all - season 1 through current. But thats just me

Agreed. I watched a few from Season 3 on Hulu just to see if I’d like the show, then went back and watched from the beginning before watching new episodes as they aired. Meant I watched most of Season 3 after having already seen the finale, but it helped me understand the context. Please keep us updated as you watch. Always good to see a new person’s first impressions as they go through a series.

I have started from the first season. The pilot was good. Felt a tad bit mission impossible meets the matrix. Can’t wait to watch more of them. Will have to for sure download more episodes. To bad us Canadians don’t have hulu to use. I am really glad that even with all the NSA CIA secrets in his head he is not a super spy right away. I am going to enjoy watching him blossom. I do remember some of the stuff talked about on GWC plus the interviews. I am just going to try and push that to the back of my mind till I get to that point.

Lol you guys are crazy. We’ve gone from the tv show Chuck to Chuck Cages first carnal experience to an Adam Baldwin arc. Only on GWC forums can this happen. So I wish o had time to watch more eps today.

Ok so back to the tv show Chuck. I started watching episode 3 tonight. I had to paise it cause I burst out laughing as soon as Captain Ossim is going to teach Chuck to tango. I just had to post how pure gold that was.

It’s 2:46 am. Thanks to my eldest daughter my youngest had nightmares tonight. Well after getting her back to sleep I couldn’t. So down to the couch I went. Two episodes of Chuck later I still can’t sleep. So why not post. Ep 5 Chuck vs the Wookie I really liked. It showed just how not in the game Chuck is. To see him get played by the DEA chicky was cool. The whole trust issue was really well done. I was wondering when that whole issue would come up. Ep 6. Well this one was good for the secondary character development. I Liked the small bonding moment between Morgan and Ellie. Plus this ep talked more of the lack of parental units. Although it pains me to know who plays mom and dad later and I have to wait for those eps. Anyways I should try and sleep. Now if only I had a pair of four leaf clover boxers.

I am done season 1. Just finished it tonight. So far I really really love this show. It’s great to see how everyone came along for development. The dynamic between Chuck, Sarah, and Casey is ossim. Morgan Is funny as hell. Just everything about the character rocks. I wish we got to see more Anna though. Ellie and Awsome are well ossim lol. Who ever plays Awsome reminds me of something but I can’t figure it out. I can’t wait to start the second season.

Here we go season 2. The first ep amazing. I really like the chemistry between all the three leads. The fact that Casey has warmed is Fraking sweet. Love Adam with guns. He really is good at a secret agent role.
Sarah is of course as hot as ever. The whole love found lost put on hold or whatever you want to call it seems to be still working. The intersect upgrade well yeah a total plot device but it worked so well. Loved Anna’s lil rumble in the cage with the tripod. This show just has it all. All the little nods to us Geeks everywhere makes this show so enjoyable. Can’t wait to watch more.

So watched the episode of Sarah’s high school reunion today. My god is that episode funny. Leaster’s idea of price negotiation was so sweet. The whole Mad Dog agent thing was amazing. Th scar from parking in his spot. Then the whole Sarah/Jenny quiz where she throws the pencil through the picture of Chucks head sweet. Casey rocking out to 90’s music as a DJ made me laugh so hard I spit my water out. I really liked Adam as Jane in Firefly but I gotta say I like him more as Casey. Also what would a high school reunion be with out a chick fight in a locker room. Also the tender moment between Chuck and Sarah at the end was really special. I really can’t wait to watch more. I also wish I had time to do a update after every episode. This is my favourite episode thus far.

It’s fun reliving these through your eyes. I remember the High School reunion episode well. :slight_smile:
