Apparently Sony Online Entertainment’s security has also been breached, and apparently the hack happened before the PSN hack. Supposedly the information was from a 2007 backup or something, so it’s not current, but who knows at this point. Sony didn’t disclose the initial attack until a week later.

For me, this means that any information I gave them while playing Final Fantasy 11 is now in the hands of hackers. The credit card is long since expired, but There’s still usable billing addresses and such. Plus, since I played on Xbox, I have no clue what information Microsoft gave up to them from my Live account. Oh well, passwords have been changed, Visa has been notified, just in case.
