Finale Schedule

After all the talk about the finale being 2, or 3 hours long, i looked on scifi.com at their schedule for march 20th. Following the episode Islanded in a Stream of Stars, there will be three remaining hours of bsg. the first will air march 13th - the final two will air march 20th. so to me this is 5 episodes left, with the last one being two hours.

On March 20th sci fi will be rerunning the end of season 4.0 and all of season 4.5, as well as one new special called “Battlestar Galactica: The Last Frakkin’ Special”. The last two hours of bsg will begin airing at 9pm ET.

its not the three hour extraordinare some people were hoping for, but im can’t wait!

It would have been neat to see it go out in the same style it came in, but I’ll certainly be waiting with barely-contained excitement. Only about a month until the show’s over… crazy.

Don’t forget the BSG TV movie “The Plan” which is going to air after the series finale.

so wait, my basic math is always off, but doesnt that mean 6 more episodes??? 2 left in feb, then 3wks in march, plus the extra episode on the 20th?? my math =6?? opr am i completely wrong???

you are completely right. they’ll be airing the last two on march 20th it looks like. the first part is going to air the week before tho. so i dont really know if id call it a three hour finale… but still. good stuff

The Finale is called Daybreak. Part 1 will debut on March 13. Parts 2 and 3 will show on March 20 with Part 1 preceding.

So, the stretch run of new material is as follows:

2/20 Deadlock
2/27 Someone to Watch over Me
3/06 Islanded in a Stream of Stars
3/13 Daybreak, Part 1
3/20 Daybreak, Part 2 & 3

6 hours of BSG left.

I am just so so so so happy that Daybreak is not being spread out over 3 weeks. All that BSG goodness, one grand finale night. Thank you Sci FI.

I was kind of hoping for a three hour episode on the 20th. THAT would’ve been an epic send off for this show.

Still, two hours ain’t bad.

I do wish I could be there with you guys in Texas when it airs. Maybe I’ll call in if there’s an option (Chuck, are you reading this?).

The question is… can forgo watching part 1 on 3/12 and save it all up for three glorious hours on 3/20.

I know I can’t, no way will I be able to stare at my DVR and not play it. It would also mean I would have to not turn on the computer, not turn on the tv, not turn on the radio, not leave my house for fear of bumping into a spoiler.
