Since I couldnt find a thread like this shockingly I decided to make one.

What is your favorite Star Wars Alien race and why?

Personally I really like…
Wookies: They are loyal, good with machines and can always lock in auxiliary power for you. While they do shed and if they get wet can stink up a YT-1300 so bad, they can rip peoples arms from their sockets so they are awesome.

Togruta: They are the species of Jedi Master Shaak Ti. They just look cool.

Mon Calamari: They build awesome ships. Can breathe underwater. And Admiral Akbar is one of them. No one can resist awesomeness of that magnitude!

I always liked Jabba the Hutt. Especially since he was a muppet controlled by three people. That was awesome.

I usually defend the special effects of the special editions and the prequels, but 2 1/2 man Jabba was way better than cgi Jabba.

I never really cared about the changes to the existing scenes, but the addition of the one where we see him with the Falcon – that’s badass.

Oh yeah the scene is badass. Han aint scared of no one, I doubt there are many people in the galaxy who would confront Jabba like that, even less who would step on his tail. But the way the muppet Jabba looks and talks just in general is cooler than the cgi one.

I give all love to the Wookies – their cunning, strategy and strength, connection to the environment, a “warrior’s code”, and yet with that sort of (not quite primitive, but) tribal simplicity that reminds me of an aboriginal lifestyle…yeah. Wookie props.

Not really an alien, but I like the assassination droids such as the HK series. (Kotor is worth playing for HK-47’s dialogue alone)

Twi’leks (like Aayla Secura and Shado Vao in the comics) and Zabraks (like Agen Kolar and Darth Maul). They just look so cool.

I always thought the Chiss were a very interesting species. They are only in the EU cannon, but do play a fairly large role.

This is easy. Whatever race Yoda is. According to Wikipedia:
“Yoda’s race has never been stated in any media, canonical or otherwise, and he is merely stated to be of a “species unknown” by the Star Wars Databank.”
