ahh such good memories. Shows one of a kind.
has any1 heard the rumors about fanrscape webisodes?? or new internet content for farscape?? i frakn hope so… i miss this show
In case anyone doesn’t already know, the woman in this scene is Francesca Buller, Ben Browder’s real-life wife.
That’s probably one of the most fun episodes, ever.
I heard they were making them and than absolutely nothing. I wouldn’t be holding my breath if I were you. I had this dream once that Sci/fi would realize that they actually need good Science fiction shows with space ships and everything on there channel.
What season was this? I own all the DVDs, but I don’t remember this one. “Cracker don’t matter" in 2.4 is my all time favorite.
Thanks in advance.
I heard the rumors and as per the scapecast they said they were still working on them. I always heard they put out a Farscape comic recently. Havent check out the comic.
But Farscape is Fraking Freiling awesome!
More greatness from “Crackers Don’t Matter” : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t5AAW0L9bw&feature=related
Smells like puke,
I predigested it to increase its potency
Its puke!!!
hehehe
Some great videos. We should have some farscape frak parties. I would definitely try to make it to them.
Fixed embedd.
Found a great serious one not funny or sexy or insane. Just touching and perfectly written.
and than back to funny again
On some levels Farscape feels like a lesser cousin of ST:NG, especially with the “mystery of the week” plots that did eventually fade as the series went on.
Still, I don’t know if there’s a sci-fi show out there that had a cast I loved more. Just a great collection of characters that really seemed to exist. It seemed like there were plots written and the characters just took off through them on their own.
Humans! Are! SUPERIOR!
I have to disagee a little here, I think Farscape was a better cousin to ST:NG, the stories were rang truer to me. I remember one episode where the farscape crew were accidentally time travelling, and they finally fixed the timeline problem they created by turning a peaceful encounter into a massacre. ST:NG would have had a happy ending come about in the last two minutes of the show.
Maybe humor is just a lot higher on my priority list, but just for that I’d have to disagree. I think Farscape is better—not perfect, and my issues are with both style and characterization, but I don’t think ST:NG compares. The grittiness of Farscape was well-appreciated too.
I’d be hard-pressed to pick between the two but ultimately Farscape would win out because, as you alluded to, it’s a very funny show in addition to everything else. STNG was very good, but it certainly never had the freedom to do some of the absolutely insane stuff Farscape got away with.
All of you forgot Out of their Minds (in which everyone, for reasons that never made any particular amount of sense, have switched bodies).
