Gotta say, this was a brilliant bit of storytelling, making two Crichtons and dividing up the crew, thereby making divergent storylines.
Sure was confusing when I first started watching this show, of course.

Yeah. It’s very interesting and compelling. They did it very well. It was a risk because like you said, it was very confusing.
