Easily one of my favorite characters in sci-fi.
Frakkin hybrids.
I’m such a bigot.
Noodle baking time.
Do we accept his performance because we grew up with puppet Yoda or just because it’s that good?
Well, yes, but I meant because Zhaan is a
plant.
I’m with you there. Cross-species breeding is essentially bestiality, as far as I’m concerned.
I love that Moya is a living ship. Listen to the background noise. It sounds like her heartbeat is increasing.
And Moya’s baby is revealed.
It might be heresy, but I’d say I like him better than Yoda.
Well, we also grew up with Kermit and Grover and Big Bird. Henson and crew were frakkin genius.
I love this. Non-humanoid aliens are so rarely done — and so rarely done well — in sci-fi. Moya felt like a real character in this episode.
That’s my point. I think that they got better as time went on. Rygel and Pilot were some of their finest work.
It was what I thought. Don’t remember it being that premature though.
“Because in his eyes I see you.”
And with that statement the lesson of tolerance is revealed.
Technically, we witnessed the conception in this episode.
Can’t get much earlier than that.
Which means, of course, that D’argo was covered with (and inhaled!!!) Leviathan sperm.
Somewhere between the 3rd and 5th episode, they trimmed Aeryn’s eyebrows. She’s so hot now. d:
Agreed. Like all great stories, it’s all about the characters. Like B5, everyone on this show has a great arc.
Leviathan gangbang? Or bukakake?
(I’ll feel guilty for this joke later.)
Is sex with a
plant
really bestiality though?
And what would you call what D’argo and Moya had together in this episode? ^^
I thot Talyn was a Peacekeeper experiment. She was already preggers in captivity. Am I wrong?
No, but I was talking about a Luxan and a Sebacean.
And what would you call what D’argo and Moya had together in this episode? ^^
D’argo popped Moya’s birth control, so he’s like a pin in a diaphragm.
A little prick, if you will.
That’s what I remember too. But, it’s been a while.
Breeding the capability was the experiment. It had never worked before Moya, though. Her impregnation in this episode was purely an accident. The Peacekeeper shield that D’argo broke was intended to prevent it from happening.
