I was home an hour late last night looking for it All five copies my Best Buy got were snapped up in the morning.
So I just had to buy it off Amazon. Oh, and if you want free commentary, the director and writer uploaded some free to the Forcecast!

We watched it last night- a good time was had by all. Having just finished watching Trekkies- I loved the Iowa scene. Of course I had to tell the family all about the Iowa and Vulcan, Canada.
If anybody on the boards is in Europe in August, Fanboys will be shown in about 50 cinemas in Germany.
I’ll go and watch the OV this Thursday and the German version next Saturday and will meet a SW dinner group there.
Have watched it already 3 times, but wanna see it on the big screen.
I laughed.
I cried.
it was better than Cats
I know that this is an amazing summer for blockbusters, but Fanboys is hands down my favorite movie of the year so far. Leg humping ewoks. Nuff said.
Hell yeah!!!
I also liked the scene with the music when Linus is sitting and watching the movie, although we only see him.

It was really well done. I thought it gave the film a bittersweet moment because even though you know that Linus is dying, it doesn’t really hit home until that scene… beautifully done.
really well done.
course it did make us Trek fans look like a-holes
I heard that Paramount wasn’t too nice about sharing, so the creative staff got nasty. Once again TPTB really come through for the fans.
Yeah, from the commentary track, it sounds like they had go-ahead early on, but it was rescinded. Thus the venom.

Besides, they had the Shat in the movie! This movie has the stamp of approval from Original Kirk himself. Every Trekkie should go out and by this movie.
Fun flick: if only for Kristen Bell in slave leia outfit…grrrrrryum…
But, question, in the deleted scenes William Kaat delivers the “you can see the movie” line… Whay was the GMH cut, for the love of God!!
