LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Can’t frakkin’ wait! It looks tasteless and juvenile- which is what I live with everyday as the lone Princess Leia in a house full of Wookies.

NPR had a review of it yesterday afternoon - which I loved by virtue of the fact that it started with Robert Siegel saying “geek alert!”
I just waled in the door from watching this flick. I took, my wife and daughter (both are SW and BSG fans). We all enjoyed it! It was a little slow in some parts and the some of the gags were run of the mill over used Hollywood jokes. I will say, am very glad they kept the Cancer plot line in the movie. Although, I don’t think it will appeal to the mainstream. It’s great fun for those who enjoy SW (and other pop culture candy)
Overall i give it *** (It get’s 3 stars since I’m a SW nerd!!)
P.S.The Star Wars Vs Trek scenes were great!
It is still just being released in eight cities right? That’s the last I heard on the 501st podcast.
Yeah, and if it does well in those 8 they will mass release it. We went to the first showing (SF Bay Area, Emeryville) and there was only 8 people in the theater (including me, my wife and daughter).
Hah…reminds me of the time I saw Johhny Mnemonic…
I was the only person in the theatre.
ETA: I am sure this is a better movie though…
