I was just looking at all of the podcast arc suggestions and all of them are for movies and shows that we love to watch, which is what the thread is for. But what about doing an arc about the movies that celebrate the fans thamselves? Fanboys comes to mind right away. Kyle Newman, the director of the film, stated that this movie is a love letter to Star Wars and fandom in general. There are the Trekkie films of course and the Star Wars counterpart The Force Among Us. One film is fiction and the others are documentaries, but they ALL have one thing in common, they are about us. You could call it the Fandom Arc, hell, you could even incorporate some San Diego Comic Con stuff or the upcoming Star Wars Fan Days (since that is taking place in your back yard almost, Plano TX). What do you think?
I’ll second that. Good idea.
Great idea, Darth Liftie
I’ll fourth that with the suggestion of “Done the Impossible,” for The Brown Coats as well.

My wife and I just watched Fanboys. I’ll add my vote to this. An arc like this would be great!

Actually, Fanboys would probably be better matched with Free Enterprise since they’re fictional works based in fandom (bonus: double the Shat.)
Trekkies 1 & 2 would match up well with Ringers, since they’re essentially fandom documentaries.
Got me vote.

I would love an arch about fandom!
