F.e.a.r. 2 a nice surprise

I really liked this game, its pretty much only gotten average to good reviews but I liked this one a lot. the story isn’t groundbreaking but its better than most FPS. but what got me was the end, not that it was a this thundering jaw dropping end but that…will go into Spoilers so not to ruin it for others

[spoiler]See Alma kept on stalking you and about half way through I started to think hey this chick’s not that evil. She just needs some clothes, a sandwich or two and some TLC. Nevertheless, I go about my business killing like a good little soldier and than in the end when your in her hellish swing dimension thing. A few of the flashes were like oh wait a minute she’s not screaming in fury or rage… and the thought “That not right?” came to mind. and than you knock her up with a super soldier demon spawn… [/spoiler]

I enjoyed the small twist and the game as a whole. Anyone else think it was a good time?

Haven’t played it yet, but I played the previous FEAR titles and enjoyed them. Never had a compelling story and the levels were often repetitive, but as a pure shoot em up, they were about as much fun as FPS ever were.

There was some very good level design here, quite varied conidering, the creepy grade school was a highlight for me. than there was the time you strap yourself into a mech and go full on scorched earth. been playing killzone 2 lately and f.e.a.r. 2 still tops it.
