Well, I don’t have much experience/skill with 3D rendering, but I had a ship idea that I considered as an alternative to the design for my Melbourne class cruiser in the universe I’ve done some writing in, so I decided to try giving it an EVE twist. This is a very preliminary version, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just looked at the requirements, and thankfully it looks like they want just line drawings (not fully rendered), which will make things easier for me. I did a couple angles they didn’t ask for to give you guys more of an idea of how it looks. I’m trying to figure something out to make it look a bit less like a blocky version of the Defiant (which I never really thought about when I was doodling it in my notebook during meetings).

I think it needs to be thicker or have more depth. Ppl may say it looks like a paper plane.

Thanks. I’ve added a bit more to it. It would probably fit best as a Caldari ship to excuse it “looking like a paper airplane” :wink:

Yeah, I suppose it doesn’t make much of a difference that I didn’t actually get my entry in. Even though renders weren’t required, all three had them (and were a lot better than mine even without them).
