Anyone know where I can get a copy of the end credits theme of Firefly? i.e. the instrumental version of the opening credits song (which I already have). Not the instrumental from Serenity’s credits, but the one on the series itself.
Would prefer a legal copy if I can, have already hunted about iTunes and similar with no luck.
Can’t help you. But when I have to acquire an unofficial version of something, I try to balance the scales by buying something else the artist has done.
Not a bad idea. I have no problem paying for a copy, I just need to find a way to do so! 
Huh. Strange oversight that it isn’t on the album.
That and Oatey Bars weren’t written by the film’s composer, so there were probably additional rights expenses.
It’s the version from the series I’m after, not the one used at the end of Serenity. The series one is clearly the same recording session as the opening credits theme (most likely just a different mix with the vocals removed), but unlike the opening credits isn’t included on the soundstrack album for the series.
I suspect I am SOL here
