Do you need to buy Batteries for a Wii mote or nunchuk if so which kind???
I have the same one. I bought a Wii for the younglings. From what I’ve heard, it is a YES! I always grab a pack of each make of battery around the holidays, just in case.
The WII takes AA batteries for the Wiimote. It comes with some “factory direct” types but pick up some more anyway (or get rechargables).
I have a 3rd party recharge station that works fairly well. The nunchuck connects to the WIImote and needs no batteris.

We’re still using the original batteries we got with the wii we got in october, but we’ve been eyeing the rechargable set stuff…
I highly recommend the rechargeable ones, they have treated my family well. They have the added bonus of adding a grip to the Wiimote, which is useful.
