Elfquest is going to (finally) be a movie.
This is long overdue. I’ve lost track of the comic (most comics, actually) but I absolutely adored this one back in the day. The stories were very full. It is sort of the BSG of fantasy comics. Fortunately, the back issues are free online, so it’s only a matter of time before I’m caught up.
Funny thing is, no one is saying if it’s gonna be 2D, 3D, live action or a combination. If I were to guess, I’d wager motion capture (regrettably).

Well, the last movie I’ve seen that the slated director did was Dodgeball. This should get interesting. Might it be a wee bit of a reimagining of what I read growing up?
This project seems stalled, but there’s a fanfilm coming along.
