I just passed it. Now I’m at the Bibbly.
Heh. I was too smart for my own good. I easily got away with things others wouldn’t have…
Even having gone to Catholics schools, I actually never encountered anyone who didn’t ask questions or debate religion intelligently until college when I met a girl who pulled out the “the earth can’t be older than 7000 years old and dinosaur bones were put there by the devil to confuse us” argument. I could only stare at her dumbfounded.
I’ve paused… in a few minutes, I should be n sync with you guys, singing “Bye bye bye”.
I just paused at God Chaos with his son Kelvin
Well, I just don’t think Eddie is the kinda guy who would subtly “hint” at bondage. If he were into that, I don’t think he’d be shy to just trot out onto the stage in full gimpsuit.
Uh- wow. My head is now full of very, very naughty pictures…
So, apparently, a Catholic school girl in plaid skirt is my thing, and a guy in full leather bondage gimp suit is your thing. Interesting.
I used to debate religion with the valedictorian of my high school graduating class. Even as bright as she was, she never saw a contradiction in the idea of the antichrist fooling the whole world, even if he literally had seven heads and rose from the sea. It always just seemed to me that most people are too skeptical to accept a dragon-speaking sea monster as a reasonable divinity.
That’s very true. They don’t know the answer cuz some questions can’t be answered.
But I think what’s worse is when believers presume that something is God’s will or “This was meant to happen” or “Have faith, everything will turn out for the best”. For example, something terrible like cancer or a loved ones death. I can understand it being a part of life but my feeling is this kinda talk drives people away from faith, not toward it.
I taught Sunday school for 5 years and I spent most of the time de-programming what they were taught in the past. I am no expert in theology or teaching for that matter. But I know one thing and I said it on the first day of every semester, “I’m not here to teach you faith. I can teach you about history and what’s in this book. Faith is not something you can learn, prove or study. It is a choice. It’s your choice.”
Most kids could care less but I hope I made a difference.
Let’s just say I’ve seen the exact same setup on chaps (instead of pants).
As I said, not decorative.
talos, you are indeed a renaissance man
Leave off the full leather gimp suit… But a boy in girls clothes + bondage? Oh, yeah.
Rapid rise of Scientology as a mainstream religion seems to contradict your supposition.
That’s a long and short story.
Only time for short story, Work sux.
Oh, okay. (… taking off my motorcyles leather onesies…) Nevermind, then.
Bravo!
I have no issue with faith in and of itself. It’s just when it’s confused with a logical argument that I get my dander up.
I’ve heard they have a special shampoo for that now.
whoa, reading that, my brain skipped over the “seen” and I thot you were revealing a whole other side
(you did see that furry someone posted earlier–in Keara’s thread, wasn’t it?)
Sadly, I fear you’re right.
On the subject of modern bondage gear for today’s busy submissives, I defer to your wisdom and expertise.
What do you mean, “a whole other side”? Don’t we all pretty much assume this by now?
