10 PM Eastern[/b]

Thanks for posting the trailer, I hadn’t seen it yet. I am hating Gaeta more and more. Tigh, you magnificent one-eyed bastard, you better airlock Gaeta for good this time.

I am really looking forward to this episode. I think it’s going to be intense.

So say we all

Edited to add - my speculation as to “The Oath” that the title talks about is whatever oath the military people take to protect people in Galacticaworld. But I’m not sure. Maybe there’s more…

I absolutely love listening to the RDM podcast, and I usually have a hard time waiting for them to post it. If I can, I typical rewatch the episode the same night while listening the the podcast.

For any of those who, like me, can’t wait. Here’s where to find it http://media.scifi.com/battlestar/downloads/podcast/mp3/415/bsg_ep415_FULL.mp3

I expect that you are correct, since Tyrol made a point of mentioning the Oath during the meeting in the last episode. It would probably resemble the US military oath, “… defend the Constitution and the nation from all threats, foreign and domestic”.

I am possibly more excited about this episode than I was about the 4.5 premiere.

It could have a double meaning, Gaeta’s oath to Zarek and his oath to the uniform.

Out of curiosity, doesn’t that completely spoil the show for you? Don’t you now basically know exactly what is going to happen?

I do agree with you…RDM’s podcasts kick ass.

I probably wasn’t clear. I never listen to RDM cast BEFORE I watch the episode.

I’ll watch the episode like everyone else 10 pm tonight.
But around mid-night tonite, I’ll pour a glass of scotch and sit down and watch the episode again with the sound off, and RDM cast playin’ (and that’s when I listen to RDM cast for the first time).

That is awesome. I have never actually listened to the RDM 'cast and watched an episode at the same time, I just enjoy listening to him ramble and recount. You would be surprised how infrequently it is actually necessary to have the show up in front of you. He provides enough detail so that you know what he is talking about.

Me too. Except when watching the DVD commentaries, I never bother to watch the actual episode alongside it.

I don’t watch them while listening either. I am usually in the car commuting and the ability to have something great to focus on keeps me from going stir crazy.

I’m usually at work pretending to work. I just caught up today, listened to Sometimes A Great Notion… work had to wait.

It’s true that you don’t really need to watch while listening. It’s rare that he ever refers to anything specific on screen.
I just like ambiance of feeling like I’m sort of watchin’ along with him.

That would be so cool wouldn’t it? I mean, I know none of us will ever talk to him or meet him in real life …um…hey, wait a sec!!! Wha …Whut!? What’s this pic coming in over my fax machine now? OMGs!:

I plan, at some point, to listen to the commentary and watch RDM.

I really like RDM’s commentary too, except when his wife chimes/whines in! But with or without her, it’s still great to listen to.

Personally, I will only listen after I have seen the episode. Nothing, but nothing is allowed to disturb my concentration when I see the ep for the first time.

42 minutes to go. Brownies ready.

I’m prepped and ready to go… just finished up the podcast for Disquiet

Though I think I may bow out during the actual show and chime in at 11.

I’m going to Radio Picon’s, Brownies every week!

I’m with you…but may check in during commercials. BTW: I still have a crush on your avatar.

While he’s sleeping? Or in the shower?

You wouldn’t happen to own a motel with your dear elderly mother, would you?
