I’m sooo taping this
Welcome aboard, arbitrary.
I too will thoroughly enjoy this…as one may guess
I thought this was an appropriate first posting to make, since I’m dead excited about seeing some new Red Dwarf
I had heard back in November about a potential resurrection of the show. Good to know they pulled if off.
Oh hells yeah! I’m gonna watch this day one no matter what. I haven’t had the chance to read through all the news links yet to see if it’s going to hit BBCA right at the beginning, but all I can say is that I’m gonna watch it day one somehow. If I’m loaded, it’ll be with a trip to London to stay in a hotel with the correct BBC reception. If not, it’ll be, well, some other way.
Either way, I’ll be first in line for the DVD afterward. Woot!
Heh apparently the special is about the crew finally getting (back) to Earth…
Why does that sound familiar?
Red Dwarf is one show that I have missed. I thought I might start adding it to my Netflix queue. Should I start at the beginning, or is there a better place to jump in?
Squeeeeee! New picture from Bob Llewellyn via his twitter feed:
He’s @bobbyllew if anyone wants to follow him.
Bob Llewellyn was on MacBreak Weekly this week and said they just started filming. He also said they were filming with Red Cameras and are using a lot of Green Screen. This will be great!!!
So there is apparently an ARG out there but this is the prize…its fun to cheat
Well… that was… okay.
yeah. not great. it was ok though.
That was: Rubbish.
I’ve watched the first part. I wasn’t impressed. I’ll catch the second part in 15 minutes, hopefully it’ll be better. I’ve waited 10 years for a resolution of season 8. But this new episode seems to just hit the reset button.
Thought 2nd ep was better, wondered why they bothered with the first ep at all. But not sure what I really expected… it’s hardly brilliant
I really didn’t enjoy the second one either. I was almost falling asleep while watching it. It just wasn’t funny
I totally forgot about the second episode. Guess the first didn’t leave much of an impression.
I have to look to the positives though. Sophie Winkleman was pretty good and i liked they way the effects were kept as cheap as they were in the original. It would have been easy for them to polish it all but they kept it as before which retained some of the original charm.
That was: Great
I loved it, I’m a sucker for Blade Runner, and really, just felt Red Dwarfy.
Also, I loved Mancunian Kryten, Cat and Rimmer, oh, and that advert for Pocky, I love pocky.
