Are we frakking the 2002 version or the original version? My DVDs came with both
I’ve got both as well. I’m old skool, so that’s my vote.
I only have the extended version. I’m guessing whatever version you want?
Alrighty. Since fastcart only has Extended. Let’s watch Extended.
Okay, extended it is. I’m excited to watch this. Never seen it before tonight.
Crom Crumpits!! Are you joking?
I’ve only seen normal version.
Gonna be weird because I still have my childhood fears of being afraid of ET. d: To a lesser extent.
Starting.
I saw this in the theatre when it first came out. Back when movie night meant going to an actual movie theatre.
Apparently I have the 20th anniversary edition. Is that the 2002 extended version?
Frakkin Spielberg and John Williams. Doesn’t get any better than this.
Ditto.
You know, I’ve never the version without “terrorists” and guns.
I wonder if there will be plasma rings and CGI muppets?
Well, 20+1982=2002. d:
Yes. Yes it is.
Sooo glad they didn’t “enhance” the inside of the ship scenes. I love me 80s sci-fi.
That’s a lot of shrooms.
I just bought this today to watch for the first time ever.
Is ET scary? Are we starting now or at the 15?
Are they supposed to be taking samples of Earth life?
It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen this.
There is a CGI bath scene. E.T. is naked. I was appalled. How did that get past the censors. They couldn’t put it in some kinda swim trucks or something.
No wonder he missed the ship…
