My cousin is travelling to the Netherlands at the end of September. My mom offered to get him a power converter for his laptop, razor, etc., but all she could find was one for the UK. Any guidance as to where we could find one for the Netherlands, or at least guidelines for what he’ll need there? Thanks!
You need an Adapter/converter for 230 V, 50 Hz. So anything that is suited for Germany will work with the Dutch.
Did this help?
Yes, thanks. What about the plug design? Is that the same as well?
The shop I work in sells them although I do not remember how much they are offhand. The company that makes them is called Eagle Creek. For the netherlands you would need either an Auto Dual Wattage Converter Set or just the 220 volt plugs that will work in the netherlands; UG-A, UG-E or GA if you want ungrounded. They make some of the best gear for travel thats out on the market. You could probably find it at REI or order it directly from Eagle Creek. Good luck.

the design should be like this:
So two round nodes are required.
For a trip to Australia a couple of years ago I ordered adapters from here:

They were fairly cheap and I got them quickly.
You only need that if you have any devices that don’t have their own transformers. For instance, if you have a laptop, check the power adapter. It accepts power between 100-250V or something, you just need a plug adapter, not the whole transformer. Same applies to most cell chargers too.
So, what do you need to power? Check the adapters to see what voltages they can take.
