But I am hearing (from him via LiveJournal and Meshel) that he is not going to be an official guest - so no panels and no Walk of Fame. But he is being very elusive about possibly hosting a certain party…
Maybe the Colonial Fleet one? Aren’t you active with them?
Not as much as I used to be. Sounds like they are really reigning back their stuff anyway. Going from a forum to a Livejournal type of setup. A step back for BSG DC fandom if you ask me.
I’ll look into this though. However, after the last party, I realized that I am too old and don’t drink enough to really get the full effect of TCF parties :):(:eek:
Wow, I didn’t realize they had cut back. It has to be much tougher with a LJ then a forum. Heck there are even really good free forums that they could use - it would have to be easier then LJ. It is much harder to find things on LJ - just look at the D*C LJ.
I still had fun at the main party, can’t say much for the after party since I went back to my friends and since I was riding with them I left with them.
It is looking more and more like I will be heading down for at least part of D*C as long as I can find a place to crash for a couple nights (hoping some of the bunnies are going and I can crash with them for a few nights)
They haven’t cut back yet, just talking about it. I know that their costuming information is being copied out to two other sites since it will not be available anymore if they do that.
Glad to hear that the prospects of you going are looking better. Can’t believe we are just 4.5 months out now!

I wish we could help. Going to be heading straight down 20 from Dallas to Atlanta. Don’t think Louisville is really on the way

Are there any plans for a meetup at this years DragonCon? This is the first year I will be attending DragonCon and I hope to meet with other GWC folks at it.
We should plan something like that. Tried meeting up with other GWCers last year but it never really happened. Well, except for Raemani 
We’re going to be arriving Thursday afternoon to get our tix. We will be there until Tuesday morning. We are staying at the Mariott.
Meeting at the food court sometime on Friday might be a good idea.
We need a way to recognize each other. last year we (gothicjossminion, cylonsleeper, Jess and I) tried to find you guys but gave up when we realized there were way too many people in that food court.
Or a very specific place to meet - but that often requires people to have been there before, and the shops not to have changed.
There is a great pub that is in the Peachtree Mall - it might be better to meet there.
It looks like I won’t be making the trek to Atlanta this year Even though I did just find out that Gareth David-Lloyd is going to be there again. My cousin is getting married that weekend on Sunday - and it just isn’t worth it.
Next year however I should be there.
