yeah, i am still wondering what was the favor that Alpha asked for. did i miss something? was that for Echo?
Agreed. Nice to see that FOX didn’t hold back on budget for that. Well acted, directed and written. Kudos.
I’d have liked to see more Alpha in Season 2, but I understand. Going into last night, I was sure they were going to drop him altogether.
My favorite episode of Dollhouse? Season 2.
Yeah, Season 2. All of it.
Early in the season, had they hinted that Adelle was a doll?
Man, there really was enough stuff to keep it going for seven or eight seasons.
awesome ending indeed…
…wonder what Topher saw before the BOOM?
Great ending.
Maybe what it was all about in the end, Individual personas.
I thought Topher was checking out people’s photos on the “Remember” wall when it went BOOM - and everyone (well, other than the ones that died) on that wall ends up remembering themselves after all because of his sacrifice. Nice image, if a bit contrived (I get that Topher wishes to die for his sins, but how hard could a timer on that bomb be to a genius?).
I love see Alpha all normal (WASH!) and hot. It really would have been nice to see exactly how he got all sane again (and whether or not at the end he got affected by the BOOM to be all insaney again). I was thinking that Alpha might hang with Echo for a bit, given he does have a Paul inside him too.
Totally rushed, and I wish they focused more on the ‘actual’ cast (I love Felicia Day, and I get that the Zone, Mini Me and her connected the 2 finales together, but) I would have preferred seeing say what happened to Whiskey, or how Alpha came to be, or more on Tony and Priya and T Jr, or Adelle and how she’s going to fix the world, or how Topher got captured by Harding while they all survived in their safehouse, or heck, some actual time spent on Paul/Echo as a convincing couple so that final scene could be touching (which it really wasn’t for me. It felt like they were supposed to love each other because the writing demands it, not because it made sense for either character at that point in their lives) as well as clever. But yeah, ultimately there really just wasn’t enough time, so they did the best they could with the limited time and resources, and it was a valiant and good effort to make more or less a good (if not completely logical, logistics wise) ending to a flawed but totally intriguing series.
I’m glad I stuck with it til the end! Wouldn’t miss it for the world.
And I can’t wait to see Enver Gjokaj (and Dichen Lachman. Their story I think gave us the most heart to the show, even though Topher made a huge comeback in the latter half of this season) to get their own shows and be awesome in it.
So, you’re saying you’d like another season of Dollhouse? ;-). Me too. This is two Whedon shows in a row where I felt like I got the beginning and ending of the story, but no middle. (the other being Firefly).
They are now auctioning off the shirt that Bennett was shot in
Oh my Krom. I just watched the show on Netflix and was blown away. Fantastic show.
You watched it all the way through? I wonder if it feels different being viewed all at once, instead of having to wait and wait and worry about it being cancelled (and getting angry at the other show getting cancelled).
