Doctor Who Christmas Day Marathon

Starting at midnight Christmas Eve and running pretty much all Christmas Day is Doctor Who.
With a couple new things… “Doctor Who at the Proms” at 1:00pm EST and of course “Doctor Who A Christmas Carol” at 9:00pm EST. And immediately after the Christmas Carol special is Graham Norton with Matt Smith as a guest.

Getting excited! :smiley:

BBC America, I presume?

Yeah, forgot that… BBCA. They been airing commercials saying “BBC America is proud to announce, for the first time ever, Christmas will not be late”. Took me awhile to understand what that was saying as I always “found ways” to get the Christmas specials the next day. But yeah, this year BBCA is doing it Christmas Day :slight_smile:

i have say i am a bit torn. I watched all the other doctor who specials by alternative means. what i have found is that i like the other 10 minutes of story that we don’t get on BBCA because of the commercials.
the Titanic special does not even make sense the way BBCA aired it.

and what is this Doctor who at the proms…?

Pure epicness. Doctor Who themed concert held as part of BBC’s Proms concerts.

DVR = Set!

So, I dun have cable-type TV anymore, just internet (I got a Roku Player, a Netflix and Hulu Plus account, along with streaming to my laptop). I don’t supposed there’s any way I can watch this on Xmas Day is there?

:frowning:

I’m in the same boat as you. I cut the cable cord not long ago and went streaming with my Roku box, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon and Youtube. You may want to try Amazon on demand the day after to get it…or you could try other means.

Perhaps, I will or maybe iTunes or maybe BBCAmerica website?

EDIT: w00t 100 posts!

Congrats!!

1/10 Alpaca Prime, baby :slight_smile:

Usually on the first run, BBCA shows it in its entirety. It is only after that they “cut it” down to the standard US format.
