Kind of a solid episode. I dug the whole head-butt mind-meld thing. And who knew Matt Smith could play soccer (football) so well?
So… what is Amy thinking when she found the ring? Did she suddenly un-forget, or does she think the Doctor has the hots for her?
Also, next week should prove very frakking intense. Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarans, and every other spacefaring race we’ve seen are all gonna converge on Stonehenge. Should be fun!
I think Amy remembers…something. She may be remembering that she has forgotten something, but can’t place it.
The ring was a nice touch. I’m definitely excited to see spoiler in the previews for the next episode.
Other than that, the story wasn’t all that interesting (it was interesting to find out that there was no second storey to the building, but I found the rest of the story of the discovery of this maybe second TARDIS - which, btw, I would have thought would shock the Doctor more than it did. Given what we know of what those cracks might be (and the debris of the current TARDIS in it), I hope it means there is something important that they found this second TARDIS in this episode - and its search for a pilot too simple with the whole Love conquers all sollution. But, cute episode.
But it was great to watch The Doctor be so alienesque while trying to mesh in with humans. Matt Smith did a great job with the material, and I love him exclaiming “I did not expect this!” (paraphrase).
And I suppose it was nice to see Matt Smith half nekkid too.
