Since there are many here (me included) who haven’t watched much if any classic Who, I thought I’d post a link to this informative “guide” from io9.

Awesome thanks for the link. Ive been wanting to watch some old stuff but never know where to start
I thought it was an interesting choice to start with the end of 7 and Ace (and some of the strangest stories in WhoDom) but they were right on about some of the 4th doctor stories starting slow (Genesis of the Daleks could easily have 45 minutes edited out of it and still be great.)
I was disappointed that they poo-poo the B&W stuff, but an option to get the same stories would be to get the audio dramatizations and give them a listen-available now at audible.com (if they’re not a sponser anymore feel free to ignore this part .) Since you’re listening to them-the set design is amazing!
And City of Death is great. Douglas Adams even references events from it in the Dirk Gently series.
(also-check out the flash animated version of “Shada” at the BBC Classic Who website)
Go to any web browser and type in “torrents”…all I’m gunna say is, it’s all out there some where. You just have to know where to look.
