Alan Rickman is an excellent villain. So is Jeremy Irons. I was just watching the Professional the other day, and I think Gary Oldman is an incredible villain also.
I remember when I first saw this. That was the most brutally realistic death scene I had ever seen outside of horror movies. Just so unexpected in a mainstream movie at the time.
