I need to get the SG-1 1-8 DVDs…
Very funny. Does anyone have the DVD sets? Does every episode have Audio commentry or just a select few. If every episode does, I may need to invest in the boxset.
No, not every one, but still a few.
Bahaha, me and one of my best friends memorized this and sang it constantly at a Creation SG-1 convention. We also made up a song called “Only on Chulak,” to the tune of the then-popular “Only in Kenya” flash video from Weebls.
If you ever need to annoy people, I highly recommend it!
That’s a shame, but I’ll look into it. I love the way some shows like Futurama has commentry for every episode. Audio commentry when done right adds tremendous rewatch value
I’ve been watching the DVDs from Netflix; I’ve just finished Season 6. Season 1-3 don’t have commentaries, just a few featurettes. After that there is a commentary for each episode (I can only speak through season 6) by the director and one other person. The other commentator is usually the director of photography or visual effects. I recommend looking at bn.com for information, since their “full product details” tab shows all of the extra features.
I just checked the date on the OP. Funny that it took nearly a year and a half for people to respond to this.
But to answer the question, yes.
You think it’s funny? I made the topic lawl
I’ve been doing a re-watch of the entire show. The first time around I only caught seasons 1-4, and surprisingly I haven’t been spoiled for the other seasons. So is it pathetic that at the end of season 5, I cried at what happened to Daniel? I’m really enjoying seeing all of this, though.
I revel in the fact that the son of Dom Deluise was involved in SG-1.
He may have contributed to much of the hilarity of RDA’s (that’s Richard Dean Anderson for you) one-liners.
Hulu.com has the 10 seasons up.Can you say sg-1 marathon?
The replicators episodes would make a pretty good sci-fi movie. The series get alittle repetitive with mind control, but there’s enough thought provoking episodes to keep me going.
