Dennis Ritchie has passed away.

I’m sure some of you have his book on your shelf. If it is like mine it is dog eared, faded and deeply cherished.

“dmr” did great and good things with the time he had.

Yup, Dennis Ritchie’s influence far far more pervasive and fundamental than Steve Jobs. But most in the general public never heard of him.
