I was watching the Daybreak extended episode on the DVD today. One of the scenes that was cut was a flashback of Balthar on his porch at his house on Caprica talking to what looked like a teenage boy with long black hair… I thought he called him Calvin. I can’t for the life of me remember this character… Anyone know who it is??
The only other scene he appears in is the (also extended) scene when Baltar brings home the brunette only to find Caprica Six in his living room. In the extended scene, the boy is also there. Caprica Six refers to him as the neighbor boy that altar befriended.

They usually don;t do that kind of thing unless it’s a wacky sitcom…

Watch it with the commentary track on. It’s something RDM wanted to do to show Baltar as a socially sympathetic character, taking this kid under his wing. It’s a bit of a miscalculation, I think, but hey, what do I know?
