You are correct the time has changed several times. I was planning on a 2:00pm show and then yesterday it said 1:00pm.
True…hrmmm…That is probably what we’re end of doing. So someone come up with a time and place…and then we can plan our day.
I’ll have time/place shortly.
One piece of advice, though: bring cash for purchases at SMG. Twice I’ve had issues with credit card purchases there. Once a server “adjusted” his tip (upward) and another time I was double-charged. Amex resolved both for me, but it was a hassle – and if I’d used a debit card it would’ve sucked. A number of my friends have had similar problems there.
On a plus note, the food is pretty good for bar fare, if a bit pricey.
Tickets will be available for pick-up and sale starting at 11:00. Which leads to the thought that the line will start forming at 11:01.
Well I’m not worry about tickets really Miss Muffet bought ours at DCC. I have my nephew who may be joining us and we’ll need to get him a ticket but I figured it wouldn’t be too much of a problem.
I got this today in my e-mail… Anyone up for maybe meeting that Saturday night too?
Hello all!
As of noon Wed, we only have 20 tickets left out of 325 total for pre-sale. I am holding back 25 tickets, those being on the front row area for late comers and will be for sale at premium price at event ticket table only. I may not even sell those. Many people don’t like to sit that close. Plus that gives a little bit of breathing room since the theater maximum seating is 350.
Reserved seating is also available for $5 a ticket. This will include 2 additional raffle tickets. If you’d like to reserve yours before the event, please e-mail me at Tara@CantStopTheSer enity.com. This reserved seating information hasn’t been released to the general public, so you DFW Browncoats are getting a first head’s up.
Doors at Studio Movie Grill will be open at 11:00am for ticket & merchandise pick-up.
Seating will begin at 1:00pm.
If you possibly can, please join in on the music and meet & greet time with Tim Minear Saturday evening. More information is given below.

Again, thank you SO MUCH for supporting Can’t Stop The Serenity.
NOTE: Again, this was in my e-mail box via the local Browncoats group. This is good information.
I’ll be at the Barley House Saturday night for sure. I basically live next door, so it’s too good to resist.
Any idea when and where we’ll be meeting yet?
Yep: I’m fine with Sherlock’s Baker St. Pub @ 11:00 – which is right when they open. We should be able to hang out for an hour or so, then head over to the theater for the event.

Audra and I will see you there!
Muffet…Chuck’s suggestion is a go-go from us… Do you (Muffet) mind handling the details concerning this?
I’m not sure what you mean by handling the details…We are leaving Norman around 7:30 am and will be there around 11:00 so we’ll probably need to meet there at the pub.
I’m headed to the Barley House now. I’ll be wearing a World Series of Poker shirt if any other GWC heads are going to see Tim Minear.
Headin’ out shortly to the meetup. Hope to see you there.
Edit: We’d have scheduled the meetup for afterward, but have no idea when the event will be over. So if some of you don’t get there in time, look for Audra and I at the show and we can consider going somewhere for a bit afterward, too.
I look, well, just like my avatar – but replace the brown coat and big-ass gun with a beat-up Stars jersey. Audra will likely wear a purplish Fruity Oaty Bar shirt.
It was lots of fun people…hope we meet -up again real soon.
Sorry we couldn’t make it to the meetup. Hope you guys had fun at CSTS. I know our “experience” was memorable.
A good time was had by all I think. I have to say I have never wished I had $1,250 to spen more than i did yesterday.
Is that what the Big Damn Bag went for? We left before the bidding ended.
No the guy dropped $1,200 even - what’s sad is that my issue wasn’t that I thought that was too much money - just that I don’t actually have that much money.
Actually it went up to $2000 right at the end when they said they would accept credit cards…
You know you’re a truly addicted fan when you think, I’ve never been late on my rent…this one time wouldn’t hurt.
~sigh~
We talked about this at CSTS… Let’s get the ball roll’n shall we…
