Did anyone see that? Nice touch there.
Nice catch !!
Hey welcome to the Forums Baconface.
Wow!!! I would never have made the conection!!! Good find.
I missed it too. Thanks!!
I think we’re going to end up back at Kobol’s Opera House somehow.
Yeah, I was excited about that… the writers (Weddle and Thomspon) are kind of cagey about it when asked… hehehe.
oh so the opera scene is maybe a weird flashback to the past instead of the future ?
Hera said of her drawing to Starbuck that they were stars. Could the music that was written be a map?
Helice is a hexagonal shape besides being an ancient Greek city. Eye of Jupiter? There are a lot of tie ins with that box.
Speaking of interesting tid-bits: if you counted, there were 12 notes/stars on the sheet of paper Hera hands to Kara.
I was thinking that, given the title of next week’s episode. Starbuck and Hera both described the notes as stars, and the musical notes do resemble a stream of stars.
so the Opera House could be on Ellen’s Colony? Where Cavil plays out his theatrics? and Hera’s star/music notes drawing and the music notes assembled into the Watchtower as heard by the Final Four are clues to lead them to the colony?
thanks for reading
Hell - the Opera House could BE Ellen’s Colony.
Helice is also what the Greeks called the constellation Ursa Major (the Great Bear… maybe it’s a tip of the hat to the composer?), after one of Zeus’s wet-nurses.
It’s full of stars!
Nice !
It’s been a long time since 2001.
I find it strange how we know what such a short phrase is referring to. Like minds.
Wow, great catch!
Yep… not many people would know what you’re talking about, in other places on the Internets. Nice to have GWC around.
Shiny, BDH.
See now, with all the piano playing and Daniel theories rolling around, a brief mention of it on Battlestar Wiki, and now this, I seem to be fated to have “Daniel” stuck in my head:
Daniel my brother you are older than me
Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won’t heal
Your eyes have died but you see more than I
Daniel you’re a star in the face of the sky
