We played it tonight, which made me wonder if anyone here has ever played it. The wikipedia page (which has a better explanation than I can give on the details, history, etc.) is here, though it doesn’t go into how freaking fun it is to play.
The short of it is, it’s a board game that gives the players a crazy alien power (or more, we used to play with two on occasion in college) and encourages you to take over the galaxy by sowing paranoia and discord in the other players 
There’s all sorts of other little details depending on which version you play (there have been four not counting the online version since 1977; we own the Mayfair, Avalon Hill, and Fantasy Flight versions) but it always boils down to “turn your friends against each other and win when nobody’s looking”. Plus, it influenced Magic: The Gathering!
Anybody else play and have a good story about it? My best one involves a six-way victory in a two-power Mayfair edition game.
