Cool craaaaaap you've acquired/done lately

You should be excited.

Unless you have cats. In which case, be afraid.

Pike’s just excited at the possibility of being rid of me.

Thanks for the good thoughts, everyone. If on Monday, April 20 between 3:30-4:00 p.m. you could all concentrate your positive energy at once, I should be just fine.

The bestest luck EVER!

Aye, we’ll do it. Let me go up the Jeffries tube first and make sure the energy flux relays are configured to carry the load. GWC has a lot of positive energy, and we canna overload the engines.

I finally posted the shuttle pictures up. Next some meet up pictures. Woot new computer.

Went to lunch and a beer with my boss around downtown area, and we saw whole bunch of people dressed like anime characters. Some of them were strutting pretty excellent cosplay, and I even saw one old fat guy dressed like Pikachu from Pokemon. Turns out, Emerald City Comicon is going on downtown.

An owl just flew buy. The birds have been really happy and flying about today.
I finally posted my shuttle pictures if I did not say that before.

Thanks Leah, it’s nice to know that.

That looks like SOOO much fun. We had a show here in the 80s called It’s a Knockout. Lots of people in poofy costumes doing stuff like that. I always thought it was awesome.

I have been watching all different kinds of ST today. I finished Rosey project. She hopefully will not be able to go after the neighborhood cats or other critters again.

Finally arrived from Japan!

Masterpiece Grimlock in the Hizzay!
This one came out bad, but I only have a camera phone, He’s pretty much the same size as Masterpiece Starscream, but sadly does not have a nice hat.

That sound you hear in the night is just me breaking in to steal your Grimlock!

Must Have One!

Today makes one month since I had a cigarette!
Aside from some twitchiness and a few lost nights of sleep I appear to be no worse for wear.
Yeah me!

Twichiness? Lost sleep? Are you sure you’ve quit smoking, cause it sounds like there’s a baby in your house.

Congratulations on your first month off the death sticks. Woo hoo!

I got an envelope (not a card or a letter) from my Grandmother in the mail yesterday. The last envelope had a check. A nice check. A really nice check. Yesterday’s envelope - even better. I paid off our plumbing, my knee surgery, and gave good old Discover a chunk. I feel much better now! Excuse me while I go send my Grandmother flowers.

Congrats! I also cold-turkey’d off of cigarettes about, oh, 10 years ago. I have had a few occasions where I have fallen off the “no smoking” bandwagon, but they were all alcohol-induced. :o

good, now we dont have to die with you:p
congrats, keep it up

well, i’m going to a conference, my paper’s all set, I get to visit with a sibling, and the university is paying for nearly all of it. Not bad.

and! my in-laws got tourist visas to come visit us in the US, so we are quite excited to get that planned

Simple pleasures.

Clap clap good for you.

So, um…how does your grandmother feel about supporting non-profit arts organizations or, barring that, supporting individual artists?
