I just got in Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium at work. Yay. I get to edit my videos now. But first i need to figure out how all the other nifty things work. Anyone know some good books to get to learn Premier and/or After Effects

I never went real hardcore, but the classroom in a book gave me a nice crash course for the basic Premier stuff I needed.
It was so cool because I had him on my shoulder and he burped right in my ear! Babies are awesome, but it’s nice having the Aunty privelege of handing him back and going home to a full night’s interrupted sleep 
I tried using Permiere a couple of times but couldn’t get the hang of it. I’d like to do a class
Yes ! I became a 1st time uncle this summer, and that little cutie always has a big smile whenever she sees me ! And man is she growing !! Her legs used to curl up so nicely into my cradling arms, and now they’re starting to hang out and flop around !
It’s simply crazy how fast they grow. I have 6 nephews and 2 nieces, and it can be tricky keeping up with all their new developments
I thought my video iPod was dead 
so I got a new 15GB iPod Nano. It is sooo cute. My old iPod was a 30GB and it is HUGE compared to the new tiny Nano. Oh, and I bought my ticket to Dallas today for the meetup. I am so excited about going back to Dallas for a trip. I just can’t wait for March to get here.
That above everything else is the hardest thing about newborns. Lack of sleep. The first three months felt like one long day. I don’t remember sleeping.
People would come over and you have to entertain, while the baby sleeps! Then they leave and the baby wakes up! My wife and I were miserable. The first night each child slept through the night was blissful and nerve-racking. We were both sticking our head in to make sure everything was alright. We were in disbelief.
It was really weird how no one offered to watch the baby while the parents slept. It’s always my first offer to newborn parents, having experienced it.
I don’t think we got uninterrupted sleep for a year with Elena. We FINALLY got her to fall asleep on her own and sleep through the night two or three weeks ago. Turned out that we were just a couple of wussies who were coddling her, still, because of the nature of her birth. Live and learn…
I ordered a Lenovo Ideapad S10 last week only to find out that those are not being delivered until next year, at least not in red. And I want it in red.

well this friday i had a wrestling match, a dance (which sucked), but then like 15 of us all went to newport creamary. so 2 of those things are good so i put it in this thread.

That’s a long time while waiting for a piece of tech. Especially a red one. Next year sounds longer and more in tune with the long stretch of time that his brain feels like it will be

It’s Sunday. I’ve spent the entire morning in my pajamas AND I don’t have any prep to do for this week because it’s finals and my one test is written. Woot!
