Cool craaaaaap you've acquired/done lately

snort It’s funny now. No, I’m just dense. It’s the end of my day…

I going to be doing some freelance graphic design work for CraftyGames. I will be working upcoming Fantasy Craft Book.

Good Thing:

Last night, I stage-managed a pledge drive at my local PBS station and got to meet Rick Steves, the travel show guy. Nice fella. I’m hoping to get more work at the station, and get out of the bagel-shlepping business.

Bad Thing:

Glimfeather you are a youngster still. I am over 10 years older than you. Younglings.

I had a bad day (see B and M thread). The good thing is my husband got my car fixed as I was at work. My dog came to rescue me after I fell. Tomorrow is Friday.

(I am a firm believer in positive thought if negative thoughts flow. I was on the B and M thread so I must think good thoughts again even when it is hard.)

My siblings and I had a song for Pick N’ Save when we were kids.

And don’t forget… savings are big when you shop the Pig!

I do not think we have the “Pig” in Florida anymore. Well in central Florida that is.

got New TV i finally upgraded to HD so it looks very pretty to my eyes.

Sick and home today and tonite. Feeling blahhhh. BUT,
I’ll be able to hit the X Men frak party tonite !!

So that’s about all the cool I’m looking at right now. But, it’s enough!

Me sick too. But me try to make X Men F-party tonite too. This make thot berry, berry happy.
Tonite’s scotch will be…NyQuil:D

The one we shopped at somewhere near SR 50 and Alafaya, I think. Across the street and up a ways from the Publix.

Which reminds me of a funny story. I was heading to a bar in the same shopping plaza as the Publix with some friends one night. (I was, um, a little to young to be doing this.) I was driving, and I decided to cut from a side road through the parking lot behind the Publix to avoid a couple of traffic lights. As I pull around behind the Publix, I see about ten police cars parked there with officers milling around them drinking coffee.

I stopped, put it in reverse, and went home.

The next day we saw on the news how they busted this bar that was chock full of underage drinkers. Wow. I mean, who would be stupid enough to drink underage at that bar? Dumb bastards.

I have not seen a “Pig” in a long time. The Circle K is all over the place.

Nope, No Piggilys in Florida in a long time…although there is a Hoggly Woggly gas station about a mile from my work. There are a ton of Circle K’s around here but we have not one 7-11 up here in Tallahassee, which sucks when you get a Slurpie craving.

On the streets of New York right now, in Lower East Side:

Some buy a ticket for Chuck, right now!

(From Gizmodo)

We have 7-11 also. I would send you a slurpie but I do not think it would be very tasty by the time you got it. :stuck_out_tongue: You could drop buy my way and say hi.

Chuck you should come visit your old home so we could meet. (OK I am still looking into going your way.)

They even made all the modifications - that is so frakking cool! I would be hesitant to park it on the street though, lest bits get stolen off it or the car itself

The most amazing thing about that picture isn’t that the DeLorean is modified to perfection, but rather it’s that they found street parking in Lower East Side. Truly unbelievable.

Just finished making a sock monkey that I started (and put away) oh, about 4 years ago.

Ahhhh, closure.

Do you have a photo? Remember? I’m curious.

Meet Cheeky!

He is simply gorgeous!!
