EVE Online is great. I took a break from it – haven’t played in almost a year – but the promised new features have really got my attention.
Me too. I saw the new release is coming or has already come out. I’ll admit that the last version I played was Red Moon Rising. I’m curious to see how they have balanced some of the fleets and if they have curbed the big corps from favoritism.
I’m also intrigued by the promises of eventual implementation of things like:
Walking in stations
Single player-owned small structures (i.e. hollowed out asteroid to stash stuff)
Flying over (and possibly walking/driving over) planet surfaces
Right now, I’m just waiting impatiently (used to be patiently a year ago) for them to implement what should be a relatively simple feature that would allow me to play fully with my adaptive tech – a camera perspective lock relative to the ship.
Yeah you’d think that would be fairly simple… but I don’t think their putting that in the new release this time either are they?
i have an old apple IIe emulator with the oregon trail rom, just found it among other treasures while cleaning out my 3.5" floppys (found xwing, legend of kyrandia, old duke nukem and commander keens, etc.). wish i could get roms for odessa lake and number munchers
thought that would reply directly, oh well. as for systems i have a pc (pretty much just for valve’s offerings), a wii and dslite, as well as tons of old systems, nes, snes, n64, cube, gba, ps1, ps2. you know, the standard stuff.
anyone have suggestions for sega/tg16 games i should pick up off virtual console (just got the wii last week)
I’m not a big gamer - all I have is a good old original Xbox. But it plays Tetris and Sid Meyer’s Pirates pretty good!
Nope, despite there being at least some support for the idea whenever it’s brought up in the new feature suggestion part of the forums.
I have an Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, Dreamcast, SNES, NES, Genesis and my PC. I’ll probably buy a PS3 before Christmas. I have to have it so I can get Metal Gear 4 at launch. That game looks so insanely amazing go watch the videos if you haven’t seen it in motion.
I have to admit that the system I play most is my 360. There has been an avalanche of great games recently and I am still trying to catch up. I just finished Bioshock. If you haven’t played Bioshock you have done yourself a great disservice. It is currently the game of the year. I am about halfway through Halo 3 but I keep stopping the story to go get into some slayer matches. I am also still trying to get some of the last achievements in Tiger Woods, Gears Of War, Saints Row and Rainbow 6 Vegas. Hopefully I can get all of this crrraaaappp done before Mass Effect and Assassins Creed come out.
PC, XBox 2, PS3, PSP and DSLite all in rotation. Not planning on getting a “Wii” anytime soon, there’s no reason to. I also have two Dreamcasts, a fatty mc fatfat DS, PS2, PS1 (original) SNES, NES, GBA and an N64.

Beein playin Call of Duty 4 on PC in the main LA Ranked server since Halo 3 solo-slayer has been sorta borring for me.
I just bought a DS Lite the other day, but I already voted, so add one more to the DS Lite totals. 
I got a Wii today and I’ve had a blast. They had 12 at GameStop and I was #11. I’ve played Mario Galaxy so much that I have a headache from being upside down.
my mom bought us our 360 with Halo and Mass efect…but not till chunkah, the 8th i believe
Since I do a lot of MMO playing on-line, I have not bought any consoles. I think the last one I bought was a Nintendo 64 for my ex-brother-in-law when it was new.
I just got a Wii! I was at Toys R Us this morning to buy a video game for my nephew’s birthday. When I walked into the electronics department, the red shirt said “are you here to buy a Wii?” “I am now”.
I also bought the Carnival games. Have my eye on the Lego Star Wars, too.
Any other recommendations out there?
At home, we have a super nintendo, n64, and wii, but i don’t get to play them much. I usually use my pc and i have a gb advance sp. i plan on getting a 360 at the beginning of summer to christen my new apartment with in the spring.
