May Crom ignore us!

Wow, that looks pretty good! I’m so used to see Jason as Drogo on Game of Thrones, I’d forgot what he sounds like speaking English. I so want to see this remake.

Red Band trailer for the light hearted romp that is Conan

Light hearted romp indeed! Wow, I think I need some antidepressants just for the trailer. But it will be visually stunning!

Makes me even more hopeful for the movie.

And filled with Ron Perelmany goodness.

Alright, if you’re still undecided about whether to watch this; despite all of Sean’s recommendations; check this out :

Young Conan was frakkin’ AWESOME!

Note that those heads were decapitated with a very BLUNT tool! It would take a certain strength of character, combined with the savagery of a barbarian, to actually commit to cutting heads off in a very slow and meditated fashion.

Frak! Young Conan was no wanker! I can tell you that

So i saw this movie in the Theaters and liked it ok.

I purchased it on Blu-Ray the other day, and i have to say i was thoroughly disappointed. Not disappointed with the story or amount of boobage, but with the encoding of the blu-ray itself. This was without a doubt one of if not THE worst blu-ray encodings i’ve ever seen before.

First off, you can’t hear the characters on screen. the background music is blaring through out the movie. You JUST CAN"T HEAR THE PEOPLE!

Second, starting about 1/2 way through, the movie suffers from major stuttering. This is apparent in both video and audio at different times. by the end of the movie, you feel like you are on a bumpy road and the speakers are cutting out every time the car hits a bump. My first thought was my bd player was going bad, but no, it plays everything else just fine. So i tried the movie in the upstairs bd player, and same thing.

I’ve written a letter about this to Lionsgate customer support, but i’ve yet to hear back from them.

I just wanted to warn those of you that haven’t purchased this movie yet, that you could have serious issues with the disc.
