I am going to be upgrading my computer parts soon and wanted to get a forum going for us geeks who build their own computers.
I am looking to replace an intel qx6800 quad core extreme lga 775 overclocked to apprx 3.5 ghz
also i have 2 NVIDIA 8800 gtx running in SLI mode
I am looking only to drop some new parts in not a whole redo. I am wondering if there is even a decent 775 proc out there that will give me a noticeable diff. a c a few on the market for 2-3 benji’s witha a higher L2 cache but the clock speed is still lower than my OC version of 3.5 ghz
