Cloudprinting: Keeping your iMac awake while it's sleeping?

Hey all.

I just got a Chromebook.

It cloud-prints.

My printer isn’t cloud-ready.

So I have to send Chromebook print jobs through my primary home computer, which is a Mac.

When the Mac goes to sleep, print jobs won’t go through. I have to go wake it up.

I don’t want to turn the Mac’s sleep mode off.

Is there any way to get a Mac to wake up when I send a print job through?

Not that I can think of, sir. The trick is the mechanism by which it would know print jobs are ready. I’m pretty sure Macs can do wake-on-LAN, but I have no idea how you’d get from print job to wake packet.
