I think it was recorded, if you follow the link there is an option to right click and download
I just registered on Twitter last night and learnt that Michaela is Cackleberry? Now it’s Father Bob? ??
Who is this enigma known as the Cackle-berry? O great one?
I clicked on the link and was able to download the show and I plan to listen to it later, happy birthday chuck.
Hey! I heard of that dude, I’ll go listen to it now…is it called Father Bob?
On a related topic, does anyone know if Talkshoe also records the text chat? In other words can the text chat be downloaded after the cast? Or can the cast be configured so that’s possible? Just wondering.
TalkShoe doesn’t record the chat, but I’d like to find a way to do it.
Well, I know the manual way to do it (I’ve done it). ASSUMING your logged on the whole session you can, whenever you want, select all and copy and paste the chat session. (Just paste it into Word or whatever and save it as an htm file.)
I did that with 100th GWC Live chat—but I only got part of it, because I had gotten bumped off at one point (or I logged off—I don’t remember.)
This answers my question about saving the text chat in a talkshoe question (see #4 below).
Anyone who uses Talkshoe probably got this same email today:
Happy New Year TalkShoe Member “ThotFullGuy”,
As we kickoff 2009, here are four cool TalkShoe features that will make talking with your online communities even easier and more rewarding:
-
Text Reminders – you can now receive a text message anytime your favorite call goes live. Go to the call page and click the TXT ALRTS (Smash) button and enter your cell phone number.
-
Improved On-Demand Calls – starting today, hosts can run calls without scheduling them first; just configure it once and then call in normally anytime you want to. Get the details here.
-
Talkcast Players for your site – hosts and listeners can add their favorite calls to their blog, website, or social networks. Go to the call page and click the “Widgets and Badges” link. It’s a great way to share your favorite shows with friends.
-
Chat Grabber – you can now retrieve text chats after the fact. Check out this cool third-party app: ChatGrabber. Or build your own apps using TalkShoe’s APIs.
Have fun talking!
I was listening to the party and I couldn’t stop laughing. I wish I had been there.
