What the frak was up with Cavil using the CIC phone to call off the attack after making the deal? Like he couldn’t just tell one of his Centurians to send out the order?

Yeah, but it took me out of the moment. After a few moments consideration, I decided that he should have just said, “Stop the attack.” And left it at that. Sort of along the lines of how they all know which Six is which.
Then I had to rewind because I was musing on this instead of paying attention.

Did it not just mean that the cyclons were listening in on the BSG voice comms all the way through, when BSG were under the impressiont their voice comms had not been infiltrated?

Yeah, on second viewing last night I NOW see that none of the Centurians that surrounded Cavil through the ship were in the CIC.
But you have to figure that some of them were near there or Cavil wouldn’t have made it there alive. Would have made more sense for him to yell for one of them than get on the phone with the stupid line “Hello, hello, it’s me Cavil.”
I don’t think they were since Adama commanded “patch it through” to someone though we only saw 6 pick up the phone and hand it to Cavil immediately.
