Only nine more episodes starting in January of 2011, after only nine in 2010 (eight, if you correctly say that the pilot was released in 2009).
There’s something terribly wrong with that, right along the lines of only 14 episodes (11 aired) of Firefly. Caprica is quality television. Yes, there are a number of actors and special effects. It’s not cheap reality TV, I get that. However, it wasn’t too many years ago when we were getting 20-24 episode per season, 5-7 season long scifi series with lots of actors, CGI and quality writing and production values.
It CAN’T be impossible to do that anymore, can it?
I agree, this is messed up. Why does SyFy continue to do this to quality shows? I really like Caprica, and will be bitterly disappointed if it is cancelled after this season. Does anyone know when/if they will go ahead with a second season?
