You are correct sir, the timeline thing was an issue.
Another thing from the DVD audio commentary that makes me scratch my head and say “WTF”?
Apparently the Final Five at this time (in second season) are are their way from Erf to Caprica. And it being such a long journey they spend a lot of time in Virtual Reality in order to not go mad from boredem. So (according to Exec Producer/Show Runner Kevin Murphy) while the Final Five (Tyrol, Tigh, etc etc) are in their “V” world they come into contact ----somehow —with Zoe Graystone in her Caprica V world and the Final Five give Zoe the missing bit of technology she needs —the goo tub technology — to become a skin-job cylon.
That all sounds nice but how the hell to the viritual realities of Caprica and the virtual realties of the Final Five on their spaceship intersect? I mean I know this is sci fi, but that seems far feteched.
I heard that too, and…
Who cares? It would have been great
LOL. You’re right! Imagine if they got the five actors from BSG? That would be sweet.
Um Jeff Goldbloom hacked an alien mothership with a Mac. Deal. With. It lol
A bit hard for me to remember back what episode was the first that only aired in Canada.
Blasters…They have blasters!!
And Todd (the Wraith), Zor-El etc.
Did you went there?? Yeah you did. lol
Of the beginning of the episode I already had an inkling that all the abduction was only a test to see who really would be faithful to the one true God.
This sounds like Yoda talking about Obi-Wan to Luke.
Only glimpse we got about all their culture was the montage of their destroyed cities in The Plan.
I believe she may not been born. When we saw her sister taken during the Cylon war, Cain was only 8-15 years old.
Yeah, that role she will always be remembered about.
Of course, but he can also get hurt quickly:

Haha, that was a great one. lol
Baltar would have had naked statues of himself that would be modified a bit. lol
Heaven looked a lot like Rivendell to me.
It happened before, and it will happen again. Sounded to me just like selling weapons to the Taliban to kill Sowjets.
If he was smoking that much even in his young years, I’ll call BS. His lungs should be blacker than a black hole before they reached Earth.
Clarice…well, she’s not that all knowing and infallible like she wants to believe. hehe
Well, this question is now superfluous.
Serge…nearly as beloved as R2-D2.
Exactly what I was shouting at the laptop!!!
How can they not get forced back into real world, like when someone is at their door or so???!!
After the U-87 fall apart so fast, I was wondering why Clarice and her goon didn’t came back. They really must have gotten scared.
I found this quote on Bear McCreary’s blog about the last few episodes:
“For the final act, we are abruptly transported into the future, in a move reminiscent of the “One Year Later” stunt from “BSG” Season 2. This act was an interesting challenge for me, because it lies somewhere in the gray area between a montage and a trailer. Of course, we know it’s not a trailer for Season 2, because that will never happen. But, I didn’t know this at the time I was scoring it.” (highlights from me)
Really looks like we would have seen new stories that would have been connected to Season 1, but not as closely and with a new thrust of Cylonship due to the time jump.
In the DVD commentary by the show runner (?) Kevin Murphy he refers to the “Five Year Jump” often. And at the very end he says something like “Well thanks for listening. See you again on Season 2 of Caprica.” So sad
I loved the end. I can see why some might be ‘bothered’ by the Willie/Bill switch, but I bought into it fine. I love what happens with STO, and the cylons, and Zoe! skinjob! good tub!
I wish this show had gotten a 2nd season. As it is, it finished with a bang.
