Can't Stop the Serenity

No worries these SERENITY showings are licensed and Universal is a nicer playmate in the copyright and royalties arena than FOX.

I too will be in attendance of the Dallas showing.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like there is one in Boston in June, woohoo!

Might want to check with those folks.

thanks Steve!!!

now why couldn’t I have managed that?

 They have a showing in Des Moines?!? Cool stuff like this never happens in Des Moines! Ohh, if I can get off work, I am so driving the 2 1/2 hours…

The 2008 charity Serenity screenings are posted on Can’tStoptheSerenity.com now. I’m in Georgia when it airs in Phoenix, so I’m planning to attend the one in Charlotte, NC on June 21. Any GWCers in Charlotte? I’ve never seen the Big Damn Movie on the screen before and I can’t wait.

Just a little over a two weeks away from the Dallas showing. Any new folks thinking about going?

I’m a go for Dallas… Anyone here wanna do a meet up before the show? Or at the show? (There’s probably a thread for this already…but I’m lazy…)

I think Chuck is trying to work on something for a meetup. We’ll probably get together before, at least, that was the last thing I heard.

I’m in!

I just finished the fourth episode of Firefly. I’m loving this show. Can’t believe I didn’t get into this earlier. Hey, that Badger guy looks familiar.

Anyway, I’m going to try to fit one more ep in before bed.

G’night.

Glad you like it CountIblisrules…

It only gets better from there…

…I wanna go the crappy town where I’m a hero…

Man, you really need to finish the eps before you roll into the theater to see Serenity. Um, things happen in the movie. Things you don’t want to know about before you finish the eps.

But I hear Can’t Stop The Serenity is so much fun that I’d go even if you don’t have time. Yeah, you’ll know what happened, but you’ll get a quality experience. Good stuff.

Last night i saw Our Mrs. Reynolds, Jaynestown, and Out of Gas, which were amazingly sexy, hilarious, and poignant, respectively.

I had actually seen Serenity in the theatre when it came out originally, so yeah I’m all out of order.

That’s ok man, I did the same thing. It seems that I turned out ok for the experience.

Saw Ariel tonight. I’m catchin up. Saturday afternoon may be a Firefly fest for me. Of course that’s nothing compared to a friend of mine who watched an entire season on 24 one weekend.

We had a blast… Truely a lot of fun… I had a good time meeting some of you…
uhh… The vest… I had to make it myself… They don’t make such “spiffy” things in my size… So I learned to sew…

I still don’t own tools though…

OK, I don’t really know where this post belongs, but I gotta say something.

I’m at the end of my firefly watch now. while i’m really sad about it right now, because i LOVED it, but now that i’m done, I want more! And man, I won’t get it, will I?

So anyway, i have one qualm on serenity
WASH!!!

OMG. I bursted into tears.
then i thought, dang, how about River instead?

Yup. Mine too. Still, it worked for the story.
