BSG Action Figures

Just thought I’d share a cool link where you can order BSG Action Figures:

http://www.tfaw.com/Toys/Genres/Science-Fiction/Profile/Battlestar-Galactica-Series-1-Action-Figure-Assortment___276309

And if you’re really hardcore, you’ll love the Ensign Ro action figure:

Edit: Hmm. The links seem to be broken. Anyhow, if you go to tfaw.com and search on “galactica” (or “trek”) in the field “toys,” you can find them there.

They’re working for me. (And do the guys seem a bit chunky?)

Ah, yes, that would be “Semi-fat Lee,” a sneak peek into Lee during his in-between phase.

I stand with my previous statement concerning these figures, especially the Anders one: They look like shaven chimps wearing BSG costumes. IMO Diamond Select just doesn’t do these action figures well (heck, look at the mess of a job they did with Serenity).

 that’s not anders, it’s the limited edition “hotdog” figure.

The fine folks at Time and Space Toys have a picture of it:

Really though, I have to take back what I said about the chimp bit. These things are insulting to shaven chimps.

I have Wave 1 of these Minimates. They are pretty fun. They are kind of like lego people just more posable.

I would really like Hasbro to make a 3 3/4 action figure.

Number 13 - You’re not the same person as The 13th Cylon are you? I thought the whole shaved-chimp thing was the 13th Cylon. I’ve been asking myself for months what happened to him, thinking you are two different people!

Well, I guess you missed my official statement regarding my name change a few months back lol. I figured that in the show they say stuff like “Number 6”, not “6th Cylon”, so I did a little switcheroo. It is indeed me… or possibly one of my infinite copies.

Well Hasbro does indeed have the option to do figures in that size. They do a weekly or bi-weekly Q&A with Star Wars collecting sites and they mentioned that they were considering doing it, but this was a while back. I don’t think they will do it since Hasbro is mass market and might have their hands tied a bit due to the show’s mature content.

And I was also collecting the Minimates, but one day my puppy got hold of a few somehow and poor Six and Starbuck lost a few legs in the action. Luckily she didn’t get the chase Six or the convention exclusive Starbuck with cigar. I haven’t kept up with them since then. I also can’t find my box set of Cylonz. My dog is a kleptomaniac and will steal anything for the sheer fun of the ensuing chase. She’s one crafty little poodle. lol

Sorry to hear of your loss. I finally bought a home and it has a little walk in closet for all my action figures. My polm “Chewie” and my son and daughter can go in there with out me. Correction Chewie can’t go in there ever.

I have the Centurion/Boomer combo pack of these. The best part about them is that Boomer’s gun actually has a holster that works and the gun fits in it. I can count on one hand how many working holsters I’ve seen outside of the Big G.I. Joe’s.

And of course, you can pull them apart sort of like Lego people and put Boomer’s legs on the Centurion. Haven’t had that much fun in a while.

Ya holsters were pretty rare on figure until a few years ago. Alot of the new Star Wars figures have working holsters. Here is a link to two websites I love to go to see detailed photos of all the new star wars figure as they come out:

I would like to custom the new BSG figures but I haven’t found good bodies to use yet.
